Setting goals is always a favorite topic to discuss this time of year. As we begin the new year we often like to think of our accomplishments during the previous 12 months but seldom do we revisit the things that we wanted to do but didn’t. That’s probably human nature to a degree. My guess though is that top sales reps and top performing companies both have a good handle on where they fell short on their efforts.
As you look upon the New Year set your sights high, but keep them realistic. Your accomplishments will only be limited by the level of commitment you devote to achieving your newly minted goals. Good luck in ’09 and I hope to hear of your success!
