As I visit different companies I’m pleasantly surprised as the majority of the sales reps I speak to were talking about the changes they plan to make for 2009. Whether the comments are real or just in response to a question during a sales meeting…time will tell. The cool part though was that they were clearly energized and chatty about their new outlook on the business.
Half the battle is having a positive mindset towards tackling a new and challenging opportunity. Many economists tell us that business gets redistributed during economic slowdowns. What’s your outlook towards 2009 and what side of the business distribution ledger will you be on?
