Now we all know that no one buys any printing or speaks to sales reps during a holiday week. Reps have been telling me this for years so it must be true. This is a great story about a sales team that didn't buy into that last week during the pre 4th of July sales week. In fact at 4pm on Thursday afternoon while most sales reps were already checked out for the long weekend these guys landed an appointment with a major prospect that they had been chasing for 6 months! They not only got the appointment but had a great dialog about their wants and needs, what the first appointment agenda should be and they even set up the 2nd meeting and agenda before they went to the first meeting. Right out of the playbook!
