I find it hard to imagine that self-serve and ecommerce won't be hot technologies from this point forward. I hesitate to say web to print because I believe mobile and non-PC devices will redefine how we interact via the internet (web vs app vs applets).

At a minimum the right solution should be like an ATM. Self-serve for many transactions so that customer service can focus on the high value complex ones that technology isn't as good at.
